Randy H. of Milaca, MN had a damp and wet crawl space, causing him to worry about humidity, mold, and pest attraction. He called American Waterworks and scheduled a FREE Estimate with our Design Specialist, Shane Nephew. Shane went to his home, inspected his crawl space, and came up with the solution of our CleanSpace Encapsulation Vapor Barrier. Randy got all of his questions answered so he moved forward with the project.
Our Foreman, Jose Flores, and his crew installed 864 feet of our CleanSpace Vapor Barrier, which is a heavy-duty moisture barrier that is used to transform the crawl space into a dry, clean, and energy-efficient part of the home. Along with protection from mold and rot, a dry crawl space will also prevent termites, cockroaches, ants, crickets, and other creatures from coming into the crawl space. Randy was happy with the repairs and was grateful to have a dry crawl space again!

Paul and Lisa S. of Annandale, MN had dirty, musty and moldy crawl space that needed to be inspected. They called American Waterworks to schedule a FREE Estimate, so we sent out our Design Specialist, Chad Johnson. After an in-depth inspection, Paul and Lisa were confident with the proposal, so they got an installation date scheduled.
Our Foreman, Cory Sather, and his production team began the crawl space waterproofing project by removing anything that was in the way. They installed 775 feet of our TerraBlock, which serves as a puncture-resistant insulation and provides the ultimate moisture protection. Next, Cory and his team applied 425 feet of our CleanSpace Wall Vapor Barrier on top of the TerraBlock, which prevents mold and humidity, and it gives the space a clean and bright appearance. Paul and Lisa were both glad we were able to restore their peace of mind!
A homeowner in Clear Lake, MN, decided to take a look at their crawl space and noticed it was in rough shape. Instead of ignoring the issue, the homeowner wanted to take action and have it repaired. Through the grapevine, the homeowner heard that American Waterworks is known for their excellent work. Curious, the homeowner visited our website and noticed we do have crawl space services. Additionally, he found that the crawl space should be encapsulated. Shane told the homeowner of his findings and also provided them with a solution to revive the crawl space. Our Foreman Raul, and his crew traveled to the home and started by making sure the crawl space was ready for the PowerBrace installation. The crew installed eighteen PowerBraces around the entire crawl space perimeter. Once the PowerBraces were installed, the crew laid the Drainage Matting on the crawl space floor. Next, the crew installed CleanSpace on the crawl floor to cover the Drainage Matting. Foamax is installed on the crawl space walls to ensure the crawl space stays insulated. Finally, the crew put the TripleSafe sump pump in place in the corner of the crawl space. The homeowner was amazed by the crawl space transformation. After the crawl space was fully encapsulated, the crew cleaned up their site and left the home. The homeowners were grateful for the crew's excellent work. Along with the prevention of mold and rot, a dry, clean crawl space keeps away odors and prevents the heat and cold from entering during the winter and summer seasons. The project took one and a half days, and Jennifer was pleased with the work that was completed!
