A homeowner from Staples, MN was beginning to notice a musty odor originating from her crawl space beneath her home. Not wanting the issue to worsen, she decided to call American Waterworks and take advantage of our FREE estimates, and a few weeks later our Design Specialist, Ian, headed out to the home. 

After Ian completed his thorough inspection, he informed the homeowner that she was experiencing odors because of water damage in the crawl space. Mark and Sharron of Miltona, MN, noticed musty, damp smells coming from their dirt crawlspace. The second installation was our CleanSpace vapor barrier, a 100% waterproof tarp that traps any excess moisture in the space, redirecting it to the appropriate disposal site. 

Finally, our team added an Aprilaire dehumidifier, which creates healthy air and can reduce the number of viable viruses to less than 1% in two days when set to 50% relative humidity. This and our crawl space liner will create a drier, healthier crawl space.
